Richmond Park.. with a lump of concrete in my bag

Today I walked with a piece of concrete in my bag. Always fun!

I needed to get the weight of my bag up and I just do not have anything I can weigh my bag down with that was quick and easy, so what better item- concrete! It was great, gave my bag a total weight of 14 kg. I did one lap of Richmond Park, feel great now! About 6.5 miles, so that is half of my daily distance and I would like to say my bag will weight maybe 18 kg, but knowing me it will be far heavier…

I am struggling with the winter training I am not going to lie… but I must keep going and keep adding longer distance and more weight as the weeks go on.

I have put together my training program, it is just actually doing it that counts…

2015 here we come!
